That’s what Mommy says it is. I’ve heard other humans call it the Snowpocalypse. And some say we’ve moved to someplace called Snowstormistan. That can’t be right, though; we haven’t moved. I’d have noticed, really I would have. We’re in the same house, and the same neighborhood is outside, UNDERNEATH ALL THE SNOW!!!!
The only fun part of this morning’s walk was when Mommy fell face down in a snowbank.
I saw on tv that someone named Punxsutawny Phil, I guess he’s a Groundhog who’s famous for knowing about Seasons, says we’re going to have an Early Spring. I hope he’s right. I can’t take much more of this, and I don’t think Mommy can, either!
So, the next question is, how reliable is this Phil guy?

Addy, I knows, I can’t even offer MY back yard for you-why? Well, it’s covered in that awful white stuff too!! Can you believes it? Snow for days and days here. Hi, Lily! My Mom says your Mom said you’re getting ICE! Falling from the sky! Is that true?
Mom says I don’t have to go out except to potty, and I’m holding her to that! You stay warm, Lily, and you tell your Mom you have the same rule!
We’re not sure that Phil can be believed, Addy. After all, he is a ground hog and NOT a Crested.
We currently have four feet of snow in our yard and all around us and this leads us to believe that spring is not close at all.
If Phil lived here, he wouldn’t even be able to find his groundhog hole in the ground.
We have never seen so much snow in our lives and hope we don’t ever again.
And have you noticed it is very cold on your paws. Ick.

But Mommy has started putting that new stuff on my paws, Musher’s Secret, and it really seems to help. You might ask your Mommy about it.
I was afraid that Phil might not be reliable. As you say, he’s not a Crested; he’s not even a dog! And Mommy said he might be Afraid of an Angry Reaction if he told people this awful weather is going to keep on!
